Maintenance
As an added benefit for clients maintaining a Support relationship with BigWorld, licensees are kept up to date with the latest developments within the BigWorld Technology Suite. BigWorld licensees are provided with ongoing code updates as we release point versions, including new technology that has been deployed prior to signing a licensing agreement. BigWorld puts a premium on ensuring backward compatibility and provides converters where compatibility is broken by a third party (for example, when Microsoft went from DX8 to DX9), to make it as easy as possible for our licensees to utilize our latest advances.
